Is there a place to get real-time updates and connect with developers during the playtest?
Yes. Join our Discord server to connect with fellow Reapers and developers, as we’ll be online throughout the playtest.
Can I stream the game or create content?
Yes! If you’re a creator, you can also join our Discord and ping a Community Manager to get extra playtest keys for your viewers.
What’s new in Closed Alpha 5?
Closed Alpha 5 marks one of our biggest milestones. With this update, many of the game’s major systems are now taking shape, and your feedback is more valuable than ever as we move into polishing and refinement.
This playtest introduces a brand-new map system. With Stable and Unstable Maps, you can now choose between PvE and PvPvE gameplay using a single character. Your journey begins in Stable Maps, which are PvE only. As you progress, you will unlock Unstable Maps, where PvPvE awaits and you can choose between PvE and PvPvE afterwards. We’ll be closely reviewing your feedback on this new system throughout the playtest.
This patch also brings our first endgame feature: 1v1 Arena Mode, where two Reapers duel for glory without risking their gear.
From respawning systems to environmental hazards, a new enemy faction to UI improvements and new abilities, the afterlife is filled with updates waiting for you to explore!
