The roadmap reflects our current plans and it is subject to change.
State of the Game
Since the beginning of Gods, Death & Reapers, we’ve continuously worked on adding new features, testing them with you and improving them based on your feedback.
With Closed Alpha 5, which took place in May 2026, we reached our biggest milestone yet. We now consider the majority of our core systems and features to be in place.
However, that doesn’t mean we’re done adding new content and features. We still have plenty of work ahead of us and ideas in mind, both based on your feedback and our development roadmap. And now we’re one step closer to Early Access!
Upcoming Features
As you know, Gods, Death & Reapers is being developed with a community-driven approach. We’ve carefully listened to your feedback from previous playtests and your suggestions have played a major role in shaping our roadmap.
We’ll be sharing more details about upcoming features over time, but we’re excited to confirm that some of your most requested additions, including the Party System and Friend Management will be available in upcoming playtests.
Alongside these, you’ll also get to explore a brand-new map; Asgard and test the improved loot distribution with many other iterations.
What’s Next?
We know many of you have been asking about our next playtest and our Early Access release. While we can’t share the dates publicly just yet, we share your excitement and can confirm that announcements are coming soon.
